The idea of The idea for Growceryworld was born in August 2007, inspired by a passion for the grocery industry and a vision to provide customers with convenient access to everyday essentials. Since officially becoming part of the supermarket industry in October 2010, Growceryworld has been proud to serve customers online since 2007 but has decided to move independently from ebay and Amazon marketplaces, offering a wide variety of grocery items, snacks, household essentials, and more.
In 2021, during the pandemic, the idea of starting my own online food club took shape. However, I didn’t have the nerve to bring it to life at the time. Effective 2/5/2025 I’m putting this idea to the test by creating an online store built on fairness and customer value.
GrowceryWorld's mission will be:
• No price gouging
• No membership card required
• A free item with every order and a free item of the week for GrowceryWorld.com members
• A free bottle of water with every order for GrowceryWorld.com members.
• Membership is for just $20.00 per year, with no annual membership increases ever.
GrowceryWorld’s owner and CEO began their journey in the grocery while in high school employee at a grocery chain named Foodway. Even before those early working years, I was captivated by the world of bulk cases of non-perishable foods, paper towels, and bath tissue—a fascination that eventually became the foundation for GrowceryWorld’s commitment to quality, affordability, and convenience. After high school I went into the military, learned discipline, structure and patience and those traits acquired while serving in the military I have carried throughout the course of my life.
Worked for Publix supermarkets in Jacksonville, Florida. Started out as a stock clerk in 1996, worked my way up to assistant grocery manager, retired 1/2007. Moved to Colorado May 2007. Worked in the warehouse distribution side of the grocery industry with Whole Foods and United Natural Foods. I started selling online on with Amazon, eBay, ecrater marketplaces from August 2007. Actually my very first online store was with yahoo while I was still in Florida. My very first order was for 5 cases of Lays Classic Potato chips.
I was so happy, back then online grocery was not as prevalent as it is today.
